Other YNMC Committee News

The YNMC co-chairs have been actively working with the ABI leadership to advance several issues of interest to ABI’s young and new members. Our goal now is to get YNMC members to become an active part of the committee’s planning, programming and activities. We are focusing on the following areas of potential development: (a) web site/technology, (b) educational programs/publications, (c) new membership, and (d) networking. We have solicited feedback from various members with the ultimate goal of forming subcommittees that would develop activities and programs around the areas of interest to the group. We hope to have the subcommittees formed and active in time to participate, to the extent possible, in YNMC's meeting at the Annual Spring Meeting. If you have suggestions or are interested in participating on a subcommittee, please contact Doug Deutsch at ddeutsch@chadbourne.com. We look forward to working with YNMC members to make this an exciting and fulfilling part of your ABI experience. Minutes from past meetings are available online.

Advance Your Future at the ABI Career Center

The ABI Career Center is a full-featured web site that caters to both job seekers and employers looking for restructuring/insolvency professionals. Registered job seekers are able to store their profile, including a resume file, and search available job listings. Seekers will be able to respond directly to positions they have an interest in pursuing. Employers are able to list their available positions and can search the database of job seekers. The service is FREE for both job seekers and employers.

Since December, the site has seen 6,000 web site visits, with 178 job listings, 100 registered job seekers and more than 70 registered employers. Young professionals should check the site regularly for new listings.
