What’s New at ABI World?
Online Items of Interest to Uniform Commercial Code Committee Members
Co-Chair Mark V. Bossi requests committee members to use the Committee Listserve to notify fellow members of any new and interesting UCC cases in which they are involved, or of which they become aware.
Check out the new ABI World web site to view the upgraded Uniform Commercial Code Committee section. The new “committees” area of the web site allocates space for each ABI committee. From the home page, click on “About ABI” and then “Committees” to see all of ABI’s committees. In the left-hand navigation in blue, click on “Uniform Commercial Code.”
Once you click on the Uniform Commercial Code Committee, you will notice that the left-hand navigation in blue has changed again. Within the main page, you will see a listing of the committee chairs, the committee listserves (where you can join or view the Uniform Commercial Code Committee listserve) and agendas for any upcoming meetings of the Uniform Commercial Code Committee. In the left-hand navigation you will note that beneath “Young Members” there are three options: Minutes, Newsletter and Educational Materials. The “Minutes” page provides minutes from past Uniform Commercial Code Committee meetings. The “Newsletter” page provides all back issues of the Uniform Commercial Code electronic newsletter. The “Educational Materials” page provides educational materials from past conferences that address Uniform Commercial Code issues.
Watch for the “Lien on Me” column in the ABI Journal—it will appear in every issue this year except February. In the past the column appeared only in every other issue.
The newly redesigned newsletter Cracking the Code provides articles and online discussion about a variety of bankruptcy issues to ABI members.
The latest bankruptcy court opinions and circuit case updates are made available at ABI World every week.
